Welcome to the Primary Care Dermatology Society
Welcome to the Primary Care Dermatology Society of Ireland website. With up to 21% of consultations in primary care involving dermatological complaints 1,2 the Primary Care Dermatology Society of Ireland (PCDSI) is invaluable. The society hosts an annual three-day meeting with speakers focusing principally on the management of dermatological conditions in general practice. Both national and international speakers have previously travelled from near and far to speak at the meetings which have been held in some beautiful locations including Killarney, Galway, Cork, Kilkenny, Dublin and Limerick to name but a few. The PCDSI has been in existence for over 20 years with Dr Hilda O Shea, Dr David Buckley and Dr Johnny Loughnane as the original founding members. Over the last 20 years the society has steadily grown with increasing numbers attending the conference annually. We hope you continue to enjoy the PCDSI annual meetings from an educational point of view and as a meeting of likeminded colleagues interested in dermatology.
